Verizon was the first US carrier to provide LG V40 ThinQ owners with the long-awaited Android 9.0 Pie update. AT&T followed soon along with U.S. Cellular, but Sprint and T-Mobile remained behind the competition.
Well, that’s no longer valid, at least for one of the carriers, as T-Mobile is finally pushing out the Android 9.0 Pie update to the LG V40 ThinQ. There’s no official changelog available on T-Mobile’s support website, but LG V40 ThinQ owners confirmed (via XDA Forum) they have successfully downloaded and installed the update on their phones.
